Create a Physical model of a local Animal Shelter Community Facility for a fundraiser to build.
Showcased a Physical Architectural Model of a Large Community property for a funding event in order for the investors to visualize the building. Work involved, Communicating with the architecture firm to obtain the architecture files as the data to start with. Then I used ZBrush to split the model in parts using their normals. Then I rebuilt the model in Maya in multiple parts for easy exporting into Vector based programs. Organization and cleanup was required here to save on the wood, and use the Epilog laser cutter machine to cut the wood into the shapes to match the buildings walls and features. After the assembly process, I painted the walls to resemble the colors for the building. After I used Maya to animate and render how the clients will showcase the physical model of the property. I took part of the presentation by attending and presenting the piece.
